.Sweet Treat Lightroom Presets & Actions Set.
April 15, 2009I have been asked many of times about how i get the colours in my images and my workflow process,
so i have decided to release some of my presets and actions that i use frequently so that you can use it as part of your workflow process too.
I am a great believer that editing in itself is an art form, therefore i use Lightroom & Photoshop as a tool in my digital darkroom.
If you are considering purchasing Sweet Treat Lightroom Presets & Actions you will need to already know the basics of how to use Lightroom and Photoshop.
My Sweet Treat Actions & Presets are created and tailored to suit my macro and still life images,
i use a different set of presets and actions to edit my portraits images, which will be coming up in the near future.
I just have to say that although i use these Presets and Actions often, they are not a miracle cure.
They will work wonderfully in conjunction with a well-exposed pics, so you will need to start from there.
My workflow consists of Lightroom edit and polishing or touch-up the image in Photoshop when needed afterwards,
therefore my preset and actions comes together as a set to create a complete workflow.
My Sweet Treat SET comes with the following:

These Lightroom Presets will work on Lightroom Version 1.3, Version 1.4 and Lightroom 2 on both PC & Mac.
Photoshop Actions will work on Photoshop CS2, CS3 , CS4 and Photoshop Elements 6.0 on both PC & Mac.

*Please note: these JPG presets were created to replicate the RAW presets (as above),
they were developed specifically for those of you who only shoots in JPGs.
So depending on whether you shoot in RAW or JPG, there will be presets in this set that would suit your needs.
In my opinion, there are no one action or preset that will work on all your images….i believe that each individual photos deserved to be treated differently to achieved their full potential. You could use different combination of my Sweet Treat Presets and Actions to get the best result on your images.
NOTE: You need to have Lightroom to use the Presets as the Photoshop actions alone wont give you the result shown here.

Natalia: Hi Jacky, yes you definitely need Lightroom as the whole set work as a complete editing workflow. The PS action alone wont give you the result shown here :) The whole workflow set was designed to have the Lightroom preset applied to your image and then after you export your images out of Lightroom you can polish it up with the action if needed. Hope that clarifies it ;-)

Natalia: Hi Sue, yes the actions that im including in this set will work with CS2, CS3 & CS4 however please note that the PS Action alone will not give you these results. The whole set is a complete workflow so you will need to use the LR presets to get the colours and the different effect shown in the examples here. I created the PS Actions to compliment the preset and should only be used after you have applied the preset into your images, those actions were designed to polish your image as a last step to do that last 'touch-up' before you finish with your editing process. Hope that explains it a bit better :)

Natalia: Hi Chris, in my preset & action set i have included a loading instructions on how to add or import the presets into lightroom. It should be easy enough to follow, but if you have still having problems loading it feel free to send me an email and i'll guide you thru it :)

Natalia: Hi Elly, im currently testing my actions with PS Elements and should know the answer to this within the next day or so. Please note that the actions alone will not give you the results shown in the examples here....you need to have Lightroom and apply the presets to get the results. Natalia: Hi Zoie, i haven't had the chance to personally test them on LR 2.5 yet however from what i've been told by others they do work on the latest version of Lightroom. If you purchase them and you find them not working as it should be please let me know - Cheers :)
